simple really, every time i go to hit enter after losing all my lives with 4 credits remaining, the game crashes and closes. this has happened on (so far that ive seen) on level 4 halloween, and 5, lost world.

Just to confirm, you're running on the very latest patch and you didn't try copying over an old save file?

I am also having this issue, was a pain to finish each level without dying on my last life/getting a 1up - especially on the lava raft where you can't counter any attacks, but I managed to reach the end of the game. Just crashes/closes itself when I lose despite having 4 credits/continues
