Kept you waiting, huh?

So...it's been a long ass time since being on here or on various sites in general after how 6.5 Pixelforce didn't go as planned. But I've started to come back out thanks to a certain item:

It's the Super Crown stuff that's been going on like the past month. I've been making sprites on them and all that.

Before I share an updated sheet showing off the Bowsette stuff I finally completed, I did wanna bring up I had some ideas for rom hack/games that could work. Also, here's an updated sheet of the Chain Chompette V2. Added some new things compared to the original.

1. SMB3 boss, just replace Bowser's sprite with Bowsette's. I could make a whole -ette of all the enemies so it'd have more updated colors (or just actual 8-bit color) Don't know for sure yet, haven't been getting much feedback on the sprites to know for sure.

2a. Make an SMB 2 or 3 challenge mode with Bowsette kinda like MM9's Protoman. You get unlimited fire ability as base form, super mushrooms are replaced with hammers (when hit you lose the hammer powerup) -or- make the Fire Flower have Bowser's fire breath and the Super Mushroom replaced by the hammers to allow options for one or both, considering including the Koopa Klown Kopter as a flying power up/Kuribo boot maybe.


2b. Going more in depth, the enemies would mostly be Toad based this time around as it'd make more sense since Bowsette is the one in charge of the others. And instead of fighting Bowser at the end, it'd be Peach. The mid-boss castles would Yoshettes replacing Boom-boom (mainly because wing Yoshi is a thing) the and different Toadette versions to replace the Koopalings. Boos do their own thing anyways so it's fine to leave Boosette enemies there.

3. Someone mentioned the idea of a hack and slash. I'm keeping this spoiler free, please note me if interested in more. See below:

=Layout=
The background setting could be something like Castlevania (Peach's Castle) using the SMB3 palette since there's so many castle and tower designs in that game anyways, wouldn't be hard using SMB3 layout. As for enemies, would be a up to someone to decide on whether Toads, Yoshi, etc. Speaking of Castlevania, it could even be more like the 3rd game where you have different allies with attributes. Like Boosette able to float/move through certain walls (like Invisible cap), Chain Chompette being a strong weapon once unlocked (like SM:RPG). There would be those giant SMB3 chests all over the castle to collect things in too.

I'm pondering, if maybe Boosette can be made a playable character, would considering giving her some 'legs' but probably not. She can float and hover for short periods of time. Can spook enemies to stun and pass by them. Stunned enemies you can walk past so that'd get rid of issues of tight corridors. Boosette would be able to hide/go invisible like in the Paper Mario games Lady Bow in order to prevent damage. Think of the stone form of the Tanuki suit. Once unlocked, she can be swapped out at a save point. Instead of fire breath or Bowsette bomb, Boosette's specials (same as SMB3 Bowser, can break blocks) can spook to stun enemies and lick to damage.

Other -ette characters can appear in the game to provide support, like if you can rescue some of them, they'll open up a shop for you (Kamette/Goombette) or health items from others like Koopas. Also hidden chests and secret items/weapons so exploration would be more encouraged.

=Mechanics=
Similar to maybe Zelda 1 or 2 where you gain health by beating bosses. Exp points from enemies and bosses for Kamette's shop. Coins used for currency at Goombette's item shop. Allows you to switch characters at will like Castlevania 3 if using a partner system. Maybe swap at just save points if only Bowsette and Boosette. When Bowsette (or Boosette) start losing health, they lose clothing too. At 1/2 health the skirt comes off, then when only 1/4 left, the stockings are gone and she's bare legged. Could even see about removing arm bracelets to make it appear more 'naked' in this regard.

The same blocks would be used over from SMB3 so it'd still kinda have that Mario aesthetic. So you can hit question blocks, regular ones, hidden blocks (Boosette can easily find), and pipes. Late game will allow warp pipes to visit different areas of the castle for fast travel I'm pondering if after every boss a warp pipe opens up and it takes you to the foyer. Keys would definitely be a use here. The castle would be set so you would need a key in order to advance to the first 2 bosses and then allow branching paths for like the next 3 maybe so you can pick and choose which you want to face next.

-As a bonus, Mario's or Luigi's notes which would briefly give hints to some secret areas or how to beat bosses. Probably would work better if Capt. Toadette's treasure hunting notes.
-A Kamette potion shop for health/magic (for skills like fire breath), if you get enough skill exp you can use it to level up or upgrade weapons or make your consumption or skills take less. To refill the gauge, it's by defeating enemies by jumping or using weapons on them.
-Maybe have a Goombette weapon shop, one did in SM:RPG so why not? It'd better give coin collecting more of a purpose than.
-Have Koopa Troopa save points.

To go even further beyond, consider giving limited inventory and to have one of the regular/smaller Boosettes (or Lakitette) store some items. You can get them all around the castle like Resident Evil. Probably better if in the Goombette item shop to have that option to [buy, sell, store].

=Bosses=
Was thinking one of the bosses could be Pink Gold Peach from the Mari Kart games. Somewhat like a liquid shadow of a shamed princess (or Liquid Peach, kek). And have some secret bosses.

There's all sorts of ways to make a game/rom hack without it having to just be of the SMB games only. Keep some of the mechanics to it and there you go, only limited by your imagination and coding software. Which I'm not that great at programming.

Or...

4. Make a pixel porn game where Bowsette and Boosette get lewded up...

Low and behold...I FINALLY post Bowsette herself. And Peach Bowser/Koopa Peach/Koopa-hime. Also some new Bowser sprites I worked on for a certain other project that never go off the ground...

So here it is and below it a list of things changed from the original sprites or least the last updates of them.

I've got planned in the future a skirtless Bowsette with and without leggings. Bowsette is also able to use Chain Chompette (above) to swing around and throw like in Super Mario RPG.

I specifically chose the SMB3 style for these sprites mostly from the idea of rom hacking a proper Bowsette sprite into the game, one that's more accurate to the crown effects, making one more Peach-like.

What's been changed from original designs:
Bowsette
-Added ton more sprites
-Fixed boob motion when walking
-Added weapon use sprites for swords, hammers, etc. single handed or two handed
-Added Firesword and Great Firesword because Zelda Breath of the Wild mod of her
-Added additional weapon stuff related to a game idea I had, mainly the shields
-Made sprites to match the SMB3 Bowser to replace 1 for 1 (Bowser Bomb, fire breath, etc.)

Koopa Peach (Peach Bowser)
-Added spikes on shoulders
-Moved tail to above butt instead of from under dress
-Also added some new sprites for her

Bowser (current colors)
-Nothing, he's already perfect...all the sprites shown were made previously for another game project that fell through, just now releasing them

This one includes few more Bowsette sprites I was working on with the sword and shield, Bowsette Bomb, and some of what was meant to be Banzai Bill variants but have since updated. More to come soon.

Main difference and issue I had with the Bowsette Bomb was how Bowser's sprite was an even number in width so I was considering how to do things with an odd number instead. I settled on an even number as does Mario and Luigi's sprite when facing the player. See my finalized sheet on that: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/29262288/
